Temp Quality Tech. Returns

OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Credit/Return employees will perform clerical, administrative and operational tasks

within the department. This position is accountable for compliance, quality, productivity

and timeliness of returned product.

Reports to Supervisor, CLS NA Q & C Lead. Works within procedural guidelines.

Works in a fast paced, multi-tasking department. Must be able to determine priorities and

make decisions in a timely/accurate manner to maintain product flow and reduce queue

levels.

POSITION DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Receives, inspects, and dispositions medical returned products for credit.

  • Receives various types of returned products, complaints, credits, damaged, etc.

  • Completes appropriate paperwork according to Work Instruction.

  • Visually and, as needed, verifies product per print, reviews product condition and paperwork to see if possible complaint and processes return.

  • Determines disposition of product in regard to whether it is a complaint, scrapped, re-pack, rework, or put back into salable inventory.

  • Completes necessary paperwork.

  • Know and follow all laws and policies that apply to one's job, and maintain the highest levels of professionalism, ethics and compliance at all times.

  • Performs other related administrative or inspection duties, or special projects/tasks are required.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • One year previous experience that would demonstrate the requisite skills listed above.

  • Previous experience working with mechanical measuring devices such as micrometers and calipers desirable.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Education and Training normally associated with a High School Diploma.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

  • Strong oral, written, communication and motor skills.

  • Knowledge of PRMS (AS400) is helpful but not required.

  • Must have the ability to operate all equipment within the department, possess an

understanding of computers, attention to detail, participate as a team member, allocate time effectively, organize and maintain information, monitor and correct own performance.

  • Work requires regular lifting of light (5-20 pounds) and occasional lifting of heavy material (up to 50 pounds).
