Service Coordinators provide HR support for KellyConnect clients and temporary employees.

Service Coordinators act as employee advocates and advisors to operations in supporting business initiatives. Service Coordinators continually strive to meet and exceed service delivery goals and customer expectations, while exercising discretion and independent judgment in making decisions.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Candidate Recruiting

  • Completing candidate eligibility checks

  • Conducting candidate interviews using video interview technology

  • Updating applicant tracking system information, creating talent profiles and initiating eRegistration in KSN

Onboarding New Employees

  • Contacting candidates to explain the onboarding process, including I-9 and required screening

  • Initiating remote I-9 for completion

  • Reviewing criminal disclosures

  • Offering employment and following up with formal offer letter and training instructions

  • Auditing hiring paperwork and required documentation and updating appropriate systems (SharePoint, KSN, etc.)

Employee Relations Support

Service Coordinators assist employees and operations with several issues, including a high volume of personal information updates, attendance, payroll, medical, and corrective action escalations, as well as processing of resignations and terminations. Additional support provided: investigations related to harassment and other work environment concerns, compensation and role change processing, coaching and counseling, and other tasks as required.

  • Personal information updates: contact information changes, processing of relocations

  • Attendance: contacting employees regarding absenteeism, performing wellness checks

  • Payroll: processing Direct Deposit and Money Network Service changes, W-4 updates, timecard disputes, and manual timecards as needed

  • Medical: assist with work restrictions, Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) requests, accommodations under the ADAAA, and protected local and state leaves.

  • Corrective action: reviewing corrective action for accuracy and consistency

  • Resignations/Terminations: contacting employees to discuss end of assignment, employment eligibility, and other offboarding detail

Skills Required:

  • Strong attention to detail, team-oriented, technologically proficient, and capable of working in a flexible environment

  • Able to work with minimal supervision, using time management skills to prioritize tasks for completion

  • Proficient in KSN, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, SharePoint, Outlook); Salesforce (preferred)

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Strong emotional intelligence and ability to empathize with others’ concerns

  • 2+ years of HR experience or equivalent education preferred
