Job Title : Receptionist
Start Date : ASAP
End Date: December 2018 à potential for extension and/or permanent
Hours : Mon-Fri 8:30am -5pm- 37.5hrs/week
Pay Rate: $20-22/hr + 4% vacation pay
Location: Downtown Toronto
- As part first point of contact for Capital Markets & Enterprise Risk and Portfolio Management, the successful incumbent is a team player responsible for maintaining a positive experience for all employees, and business leaders and clients.
This role is in the technology world and is very high paced. This individual will be primarily supporting the Managing Director as well as general assistance to the department.
This individual will be working with and taking direction from the Managing Director.
Manage reception area, including greeting internal and external clients, executives and visitors and directing them to individuals
Collaborating cross? functionally with internal departments, providing operational support and coordination of meeting rooms and catering
Answering and directing incoming calls; identifying needs and responding to inquiries
Administering and coordinating security access procedures including assignment of security cards and maintaining visitor log
Effectively managing incoming and outgoing mail and couriers
Liaise with Building Services (Recycling, Lights, Heat/AC, Janitorial)
Distribute Laptops and Projectors
Intake Forms for On? Boarding/Off Boarding and Account Extensions
Coordination of tasks with Technology Business Support Services
Must Have Skills :
1-2 years of Reception and/or Administrative Assistant experience ideally in a large enterprise environment to get used to the busy environment
Experience with MS Office - MS Outlook (booking meetings rooms)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Nice to Have Skills
- Previous banking/financial experience
