Operations Supervisor

Come and work for one of the leaders in the Food and Snack production industry located in Dufferin and College.

Under the direction of the Business Unit Manager or Leader, this position is responsible for the day-to-day manufacturing operations in assigned department, maintaining cost, quality, safety and sanitation.


Shift is 6 am to 6 pm and or 6 pm to 6 am Sunday to Saturday. There is also the possibility of working 5 days (Mon- Fri) 8hrs. Must be able to work nights and weekends.


  • Manages daily operations and identifies the need for, arranges for and coordinates maintenance repair, replacement or upgrades.

  • Directs personnel and activities to achieve consistent, highest quality products at the lowest possible cost.

  • Maintains hourly union payroll in SAP.

  • Insure compliance with safe operating procedures by personnel.

  • Insure compliance with GMP’s and all regulatory requirements.

  • Actively participates and supports all safety initiatives within the manufacturing location.


  • College degree-BA/BS Degree in operations management, business or a related field preferred.

  • 1-3 years supervisory or leadership experience. Strong organizational skills

  • Strong Interpersonal/leadership Skills

  • Problem solving and Decsion Making skills

  • Experienced in directing personnel and activities

  • Experienced insuring compliance with all regulatory requirements

  • Customer Focused

  • Highly developed communication skills

  • Able to lift boxes up to 40 pounds, bend, lift and stand for long durations
