The Marketing and Content Specialist is responsible for the implementation and ongoing management of all Kelly Canada marketing and communications strategies and initiatives. This position’s responsibilities include management of Kelly Canada’s Extranet and Social Networking Web sites, print and online marketing initiatives for current and new customers, employees and candidates that elevate and promote the Kelly brand and support ongoing sales, recruitment and retention initiatives in both English and French. The Specialist is also the Canadian subject matter expert and liaison to various departments of Kelly’s Global Headquarters, including but not limited to, Marketing, eBusiness and Public Relations, and oversees marketing projects, tools and implementations for the Canadian organization. The Marketing and Content Specialist exercises discretion and independent judgment in daily decision-making while operating within company policy.

The successful candidate should possess a post secondary education and/or equivalent work experience. A minimum of five years of experience in a communications and/or marketing-related position is required. The key competencies for the Marketing & Content Specialist include the ability to self-motivate, excellent writing, editing and grammar, strong communication and time management skills, as well as an exceptional technical proficiency (i.e., web management, interactive channels, basic HTML, blast email tools, MS Office).

  • Web Management: Manage ongoing web content revisions/message elevation on bilingual Kelly Canada sites. Develop and implement new advertisements (web ads, banners). Ensure proper function of technology tools. Troubleshoot challenges and resolve quickly to alleviate site downtime. Develop country specific content as needed. Manage relevant email mailboxes. Provide direction of marketing work flow and priorities for project completion and translation. Site statistics and analysis.

  • Interactive Marketing: Canadianize content for monthly B2B and B2C email newsletters and promote on social channels. Write content and manage social networking sites as well as develop advertisement campaigns. Interpret and diffuse complaints to appropriate management areas as needed. Monitor usage across Canada and measure success through analysis and tracking delivery, open and click-thru rates.

  • Project Management: Canadianize and implement marketing campaigns, branding initiatives, collateral, videos, displays and other support tools. Support Leadership and provide expertise as needed. Liaison to Global Marketing group. Planning and execution of national trade shows and other events. Vendor selection and relationship management. Participate in Corporate departmental meetings and share legislative requirements. Direction of work flow and priorities for project completion and translation. Manage and respond to RFP’s and presentations led by Director of National Sales and Canadian Field Operations.
