Kelly Services Cleanroom Technician in Tempe, Arizona


The Cleanroom Technician is accountable for supporting the testing of slurry & surface clean formulations for the Technology Group.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES: Operate and maintain CMP polishers and cleaners, including recipe creation & management, safe handling of consumables (slurries and cleaning solutions), pad conditioner & cleaner brush replacement. Measure blanket wafer material removal and defectivity using film thickness & defectivity metrology (4-point probe, spectrometry & surface inspection) and patterned wafer topography using Profilometry & AFM Accurately, efficiently and safely complete engineering test plans as directed by the Fab Supervisor or the requesting Engineer including all data management such as downloading results from tool, file naming, folder management and exporting data to Excel Accurate handling and lot management of wafers used in experiments to ensure error free data collection. Compile data and distribute summary of completed test plans at end of shift. Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as needed. Strong communication skills and team work abilities to support a diverse environment. Actively participate in the sites Basic Safety Practice (BSP). Maintain a Safe work environment and good general housekeeping.

EXPERIENCE / EDUCATION DESIRED: Minimum Bachelors Degree in Chemistry or equivalent. Previous industry experience as a CMP process technician is desired. Previous experience with CMP polish tool and associated wafer metrology is desired. Candidate should be proficient in typical computer software applications (MS Excel, Word, PPT, Outlook, etc.) Reliable, dynamic, self motivated individual, with an ability and desire to work in a fast paced chemical and semiconductor R&D environment.

Looking for candidates with 3-5 years of CMP Cleanroom experience.

Day shift- 8am-4pm

If candidate prefer a 4pm -12 shift will be flexible
