Bilingual Help Desk Analyst, Strongsville, OH

Kelly Services is seeking a Help Desk Analyst bilingual French OR Spanish speaking for one of our top clients in Strongsville, OH.

Length: 1 Year (Contract W2)

Pay Rate: $17.50/hr. W2

Overview:

The function of the Help Desk Analyst is to assist customers with support for client proprietary software, Microsoft Windows operating system software, computer hardware, computer peripherals and basic computer networking. Customer Support is accomplished primarily by staffing and answering phone calls plus using remote support tools to connect into customer computers. Calls are to be handled in a timely fashion and escalated as needed for the timeliest resolution. Additional mission related responsibilities will be assigned as required.

Responsibilities:

Help Desk:

  • Provide phone coverage for 30-40 calls a day, but not limited to that number

  • Master proprietary software

  • Assist other help desk team members in resolving hardware and software customer issues as needed

  • Respond to customer questions and, or, concerns regarding vendor equipment policies

  • Update internal records in an efficient, effective and timely fashion

  • Build, and or, configure computers

  • Physically possess the ability to lift up to 40 pounds

  • Assist with special projects as assigned

  • Assist in other department related tasks as needed

Logistics:

  • Support monthly inventory control on a rotating basis if necessary

  • Aid in resolving order, shipping, receiving, and customer issues as it relates to the Help Desk’s support of computer related equipment.

Qualifications:

  • Bilingual French OR Spanish speaking

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Computer Science; OR equivalent work experience if preferred.

  • 2-4 years’ experience using Microsoft Office Suite of products, especially Excel and Word, plus working with Operating System platforms (including Windows 8, 7, and XP).

  • Microsoft certifications are a strong plus along with A+ or Network +.

  • Working knowledge of computers and computer networking terms and support.

  • Effective analytical abilities and technical skills to isolate problems, fix immediate needs and offer long term solutions based on root cause analysis.

  • Ability to control pressing situations with composed decisiveness.

  • Excellent organizational skills

  • Good communicator both written and spoken

  • Make sound and timely decisions.

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.

  • Steel toed shoes must be worn when engaged around the work-benches.

  • Dress code is business casual. Generally, clothing that is neat and professional is acceptable.

  • Items such as cotton shirts (with collars), sweaters, khaki pants, Capri pants and other such casual slacks are acceptable.
