Kelly Services has an outstanding opportunity as a Logistics Specialist / Supply Coordination Scheduler in Spring, TX.


  • Plans and schedules crude oil or gas distribution to designated pipeline system

  • Analyzes storage level and adjusts shipping schedule to minimize risks

  • Reconciles invoices and delivery confirmations with shippers, distributors, and end users

  • May support pipeline operational and maintenance issues

  • Typically requires 2 to 4 years of related experience

  • Nominates requirements to pipeline, marine, and rail carriers, monitors and executes product movement from origin facilities into and out of terminal tankage and truck racks

  • Coordinates with refineries and sales to forecast and plan supply / demand balances, trigger buy / sell signals to optimizers / traders

  • Complete daily product scheduling activity, coordinating interfaces with internal and external customers

  • Oversee implementation of the supply and logistics activity for bulk movements of crude oil, feed stocks and products in the US (may include pipeline, marine, rail and truck)

  • Manages inventory downstream of refinery to agree operating targets and year-end levels; sets appropriate terminal safety stock levels

  • Maintains supply reliability to marketing and third party customers

  • Provides input on logistical capabilities and limitations of the XOM supply system in support of the development of long range supply and distribution strategies

  • Coordinates seasonal product conversions

  • Interfaces with key logistics partners to ensure effective operations

  • Provides detailed scheduling and inventory management for a specific area, product, or asset mix


  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline preferred

  • Minimum 2-4 years of related experience

  • Good working knowledge of SAP, Excel, and Word

  • SAP GOM and/or Navarik platform experience is preferred

  • Experience scheduling pipeline, barges, marine vessels, and/or trucks

  • Strong leadership, influencing, and coordination skills within a team environment

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills

  • Effectively communicates and works in teams

  • Comprehensive understanding of product specifications
