Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for someone with contracts experience! Our client is looking for a Contract Specialist who will partner with MCG customers, billing and accounting, the Sales Team, and Account Management. Primary responsibilities include drafting and processing contracts, including obtaining appropriate approvals for, legal, compliance and business issues, and maintaining documents and files in Apttus. This is a driect hire position!

Core Competency:

Draft various contractual documents per specifications of Sales Team under the direction of an experienced Contract Manager and/or Director of Contracts.

Participate in all aspects of creating the contractual documents from draft to final format, including obtaining appropriate approvals for business and legal issues.

Interpret and effectively manage the terms and conditions of contracts.

Store required documentation and approvals as appropriate.

Technical Expertise:

Create new contracts and amendments via Apttus

Activate contracts in Apttus and Salesforce for new licenses, relicenses, and updated renewal client accounts.

Perform required data entry and on-going maintenance within Salesforce.

Notify and coordinate with Technical Services for the creation of License Management Records (LMR s) to provide clients access to the Solutions they license.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

BA/BS degree required/2 Years contract administration experience

Self-motivated and detail-oriented with strong verbal analytical, and written communication skills.

Basic knowledge or familiarity of Salesforce, Apttus (or other CLM systems) highly preferred.

Understand and is able to do basic math calculations.

Must be responsive and collaborative.

Possess a strong sense of urgency.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, effectively managing rapidly shifting work priorities.

Proficient in Word, Excel, and Microsoft Outlook required.
