Kelly Services Receptionist in Scotts Valley, California

Job Description

Summary of Position:

The Customer Service Receptionist will answer calls to our service and parts departments and route them as appropriate to the technicians or internal support staff that can best answer inquiries. When the support team is not available, you will take and relay messages, but also make sure that these calls are returned. For inquiries that might require more in-depth responses, you will facilitate appointments for training or trouble shooting sessions. To help us understand our success in providing prompt responses, you will log all calls and track our response time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process phone calls from our distributors, dealers and owners and ensure rapid responses

  • Review incoming voicemails and emails and forward them to the appropriate team members

  • Communicate and coordinate with Customer Experience team members to ensure that escalated issues are revolved in a timely manner

  • Maintain a log of all inbound calls, their origination and our response times

Required Education/Experience

  • High school or equivalent

  • Proficiency with basic computer applications including Word and Excel (experience with Salesforce.com a plus)

Skills and Attributes

  • Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills - verbal and written

  • Must be customer-focused and service-oriented

  • Fluent in English

  • Able to multi-task on several projects

  • Able to prioritize calls and escalate issues to the appropriate parties as necessary

Physical and Sensory Requirements:

  • Candidate must be able to sit for long periods of time to perform duties, and to move around and make inquiries from other staff, management as needed

  • Must be able to bend or stoop down to access files
