Kelly Services IT Manager in Redmond, Washington

Kelly IT Resources is actively seeking an IT Manager for a direct hire role located in Redmond, WA. The IT Manager will manage the IT department and be a technical leader for IT/IS matters in a 200+ employees 30M+ revenues business unit. This IT Manager must seek out opportunities to maximize efficiency and standardization of the IT solutions landscape, instituting best practices, ensuring security, business continuity, and service performance and lowering costs. Develops and executes plans that support the organization s IT needs. Ensures proper functioning and backup of the information processing system and oversees necessary upgrades. Aligns hardware, software and associated peripherals with organizational needs. Relies on extensive knowledge and professional discretion to achieve goals.

Responsibilities:

Plan, organize, control and evaluate IT and electronic data operations

Manage IT staff by recruiting, training and coaching employees, communicating job expectations and appraising their performance

Design, develop, implement and coordinate systems, policies and procedures

Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems Act in alignment with user needs and system functionality to contribute to organizational policies

Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in time Audit systems and assess their outcomes

Preserve assets, information security and control structures

Handle annual budget and ensure cost effectiveness

Monitors and enforces adherence to NIST security standard policy

Participates to operational business projects to contribute from IT/IS standpoint to the definition and delivery of the most effective solution in terms of cost, quality and customer satisfaction

Supports IT/IS users Contributes to the Business Unit training program by defining and delivering awareness and training sessions towards the goal of raising computer skills and digital solutions awareness at every level of the company

Manage information technology and computer systems

Additional Skills:

Supervises work of outside contractors and vendors

Trains end users on software, hardware and other computer related procedures

Plans monthly and yearly IT and IS expenditures

Follows all safety policies and procedures

Required skills:

Proven working experience as an IT manager or relevant experience

Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis and of computer hardware/software systems

Expertise in data center management and data governance

Hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration and network installation Experience with disaster recovery as it relates to IT Ability to manage personnel

BS in Computer Science, MIS or similar field

Nice to have skills:

Familiarity with NIST security standards as it relates to ITAR, EAR and DFAR Background in IT systems involved with manufacturing including Engineering PLM, Quality Control systems and ERP

Certification in the ITIL framework for professional IT systems management

Experience with Manufacturing Execution System solution implementation is a plus Specific experience on following solutions is a plus: Agile, QAD-MFGPro, QCBD, Lotus notes, Solidworks

Travel is minimal but must be able to obtain a passport
