Kelly Services is currently seeking a Financial Analyst for a supplier of aerospace and defense products, munitions, smart weapons, propulsion and composite structures located in Plymouth, MN.

Job Title: Financial Analyst

Location: Plymouth, MN 55442

Type: Temporary

Length: 4/16/18 – 10/15/18

Schedule: 7am - 4pm, Monday - Friday

Pay Rate: $40 - $45 per hour

Summary:

Principle Financial Analyst will ensure Pension, Other Post Employment Plans, and other benefit plans are properly accounted for in accordance with Accounting Standards Codification (ASC), Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), Department of Labor and other government regulations. Job will entail preparation of monthly Journal Entries, account reconciliations, and forecasts related to these plans. Candidate will also prepare financial statements and DOL form 5500 filings for pension plans. Prepare funding requests for benefit payments. Job will also involve preparing schedules for inclusion in our annual cost submission to the Department of Defense.

Responsibilities:

• Journal entry, account reconciliation, forecasting, administration of pension, making benefits payments - all daily operational tasks.

• Project: preparation of the 5500 for 2017

Preferences

• 5500 experience is not a must, but the person selected will very likely have it

• Government contract experience preferred (work with auditors, etc.)
