Kelly Services Materials Specialist in Plymouth, Michigan
Kelly Services is looking for a Material Specialist to service one of our very important clients in the Detroit Metropolitan Area.
The Material Specialist will be responsible for procurement of a myriad of materials as well as planning and expediting product and materials in a timely fashion.
Material Specialist responsibilities:
Maintains Customer and supplier relationships though visits, verbal/written communication and completion of inquiries within requested time frames.
Ensures production schedules are communicated effectively, monitored for appropriate inventory and updated/communicated accordingly.
Participates in LEAN Daily management process by preparing and monitoring key measureables for the department and reports on a regularly scheduled basis
Assist with product launch/ process changes
Required Skills and Experience
High School Diploma
Working knowledge of IATF 16949 Or ISO 9000
Working knowledge of ERP/MRP Systems
Work experience in a high volume manufacturing environment
