Duration: 5+ months

Pay: $45.00 - $52.00/HOUR

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

As Product Marketing Contractor, the work will include developing outbound marketing activities for Cybersecurity Services Products (Support, Services and Education). You will craft competitively differentiated messaging and positioning. You'll conceive and develop the go-to-market strategy and innovative marketing programs that drive demand. Attention to detail and an eye for quality, along with the ability to grasp and translate features into benefits is crucial. The Product Marketing Contractor will be knowledgeable of the buyer’s journey, how they buy and their buying criteria and will transfer that knowledge to our direct sales team, our channel partners and the marketing team. This position will be overseen by the Sr. Manager Product Marketing, Cybersecurity Services.

Specific work includes:

  • Positioning: develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates Cybersecurity Services Products in the market

  • Content creation: leveraging the product positioning and messaging, develop go-to-market content needed to differentiate Cybersecurity Services Products in the market (blogs, digital videos, whitepapers, datasheets, presentations, etc.)

  • Story telling: have a knack for deriving key story-telling components to bring the concept to life

  • Design: ability to bring a concept to life by leveraging your design skillsets in PowerPoint, adobe and other creative tools

  • Sales enablement: develop communications and value proposition of Cybersecurity Services Products for the sales and team and partners and develop the sales tools and collateral that support the selling process of Cybersecurity Services Products

  • Product launches: position and plan the launch of Cybersecurity Services Products and drive the cross-functional implementation of the plan

  • Market intelligence: be the expert on buyers, how they buy and their buying criteria; be the expert on competition and how to win in the marketplace

  • Demand generation: develop the go-to-market strategy, key plays, and campaigns and manage the marketing programs that drive demand for Cybersecurity Services Products


  • 5-7+ years of enterprise services, support or software product marketing experience

  • Bachelors in business or marketing

  • Very strong written communication skills

  • Strong design skills

  • Excellent people and management skills to interact with staff, colleagues and cross-functional teams

  • Understanding of cybersecurity industry and market (preferred)
