Looking for a great new position? Kelly Services is currently recruiting for an exceptional Administrative Support employee to work at one of our best customers in Pittsburg, CA. The candidate we seek to represent will be assigned to a long term temporary position. .
The Administrative Assistant employee will be responsible for providing Administrative support to the Business Services team. Candidate should be highly confident in their data entry skills, computer ability and possess a high level of attention to detail. This candidate will also be responsible for regular Administrative tasks.
Job Title: Administrative Assistant / Document Specialist
Location: Pittsburg, CA
Length of Assignment: 12 months or longer
Shift hours: Full-time, 40 hours a week
Primary Job Responsibilities:
Office Professional support
Maintaining Department mailbox
Setting up meetings, supporting meetings
Copy, scan and file documents
Develop spreadsheets, charts and presentations.
Keep personnel data up to date, all phone lists, on-call list, etc. - communicate to all when updated.
Coordinate departmental functions, including celebrations, welcomes, farewells, etc.
Assist in the coordination of department transfers. Request office equipment and supplies for new employees and co-ops (including PC, docking station, PPE, chair, desk, office key)
Maintain new and revised Material Safety Data Sheets.
Other special projects as needed
High school diploma
4-6 years of Administrative work experience
Proficient with the MS Office suite- online testing will be required
Scanning/document control experience
Must have exceptional attention to detail
Must be able to multi-task
Must be able to make decisions independently, troubleshoot and solve problems effectively
Ability to anticipate needs of end users
Excellent interpersonal skills
Able to work with a diverse scientific community
