Job Title: Senior Coordinator/Associate Project Manager

Department: Project Management for Pharmaceutical Drug Development

Brief Description of Job:

Duration: Temporary assignment until June 2019

Project Management is responsible for planning, scheduling, monitoring, executing and reporting all phases of drug development projects. The candidate will be responsible to support pharmaceutical product development projects by coordinating and facilitating activities per development plan across cross functional teams (internal and external).

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates and facilitates project tasks under the direction of senior department members and provides feedback as appropriate.

  • Work with operational (functional) groups to plan and execute project deliverables.

  • Request and manage program deliverables and timelines for multiple projects

  • Review of documents for accuracy and content (i.e., protocols, technical reports).

  • Identify and escalate critical matters to senior team members.

  • Participate on project teams, coordinate project meetings (prepare minutes), organize and maintain project documentation.

  • Organize data and assist in management of documents to support regulatory filings.

  • Track project budgets and assist in budget forecasting. Review and approve monthly invoices.

  • May assist in compilation of clinical data, historic data, analytical data based on input from subject matter experts.

Job Requirements:

  • Detail Oriented with ability to multi-task

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Understanding of the drug development process preferred

  • Working knowledge of pharmaceutical regulatory requirements and cGMPs preferred

  • Project Management software knowledge preferred

  • Capable to facilitate and negotiate within team to execute tasks and timelines

  • Effectively communicates with supervisors and team members

Required Education/Experience/Training:

Minimum:

Bachelors degree in science/health field with 2+ years of experience in coordinating projects with at least 1 year in the pharmaceutical or medical device industry.

Preferred:

  • Advanced degree in science/health field with exposure to pharmaceutical development.

  • Understanding of pharmaceutical regulatory requirements and cGMPs

  • Project Management software experience

  • Budgeting/finance experience

Schedule: Monday through Friday

Pay rate $35/hr.
