A leading chemical manufacturing company located in the Orange, Texas area is currently seeking an organized, detail-oriented, and energetic Administrative Assistant to join their team! This role is a long-term opportunity with extensive room for growth and advancement!

A Day in the Life of the Administrative Assistant Might Include:

  • Calendar and time management tasks for multiple leaders.

  • Arranging meetings and conference calls.

  • Discerning and prioritizing meeting importance with a high level of organization and consideration for the needs within the company.

  • Preparation of presentations, letters and other documents.

  • Planning, executing and managing events and external conferences, including venue booking, vendor management, catering, agenda planning, support for the facilitator, visitor accommodations.

  • Preparing, monitoring and approving expense reports.

  • Making domestic and international travel arrangements and create travel itinerary and trip packets.

  • Data collection and distribution.

  • Telephone and email follow-up.

  • Maintaining a track record of safety trainings.

  • Maintaining File Share security access.

  • Managing Distribution Lists.

  • Assisting with SharePoint management.

  • Assisting with learning curriculums database.

  • Ordering and maintaining office supplies.

  • Assisting with on and off boarding of personnel.

  • Entering facilities work orders.

  • Entering visitor gate passes.

  • Performing general administrative duties, printer maintenance, filing, etc. as needed.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • At least 2-3 years of previous office/administrative experience.

  • Proficiency with MS Office – Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

  • A self-motived, driven attitude.

  • Organizational skills and high attention to detail.
