Kelly Services Corporate Paralegal (Temporary) in Norwalk, Connecticut
Kelly Legal Managed Services is actively recruiting for an experienced Corporate Paralegal for a 5-month temporary assignment in Norwalk beginning in early March.
The Paralegal will be responsible for providing direct support to the legal department and for liaising with management and outside counsel on various legal and special project initiatives. Responsibilities and qualifications are as follows:
Perform legal research and draft legal documents
Assist in ensuring federal, state, and local compliance guidelines are met
Prepare various types of corporate agreements and manage contract timelines
Obtain, process, and track legal department expenses
Maintain communication with grant recipients regarding invention disclosures and work with outside counsel on next steps
Track and closely monitor all patent and trademark registrations
Work with outside counsel and management to ensure USPTO deadlines are met
Maintain Board of Directors and Corporation presentations, minutes, and records
Must have a minimum of 5 years relatable work experience (Intellectual Property, Corporate Transactional)
Associates Degree in Paralegal Studies and/or Paralegal Certificate
Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred
Offer strong project, organizational, time management, and communication skills.
Be self-driven and able to work independently and collaboratively
Offer high proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
Be flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities and multiple tasks
