Job Description

Kelly Services is searching for a Recruiter for a customer in Northville, Mi. This is a Direct Hire opportunity with a salary of up to $60,000 per year based on experience. This customer is looking for candidates who have a background in corporate recruiting in the automotive industry.

Recruiter Job Duties:

Coordinate internal recruiting activities and complete timely tracking reports

Partner with hiring managers to determine their staffing needs. This includes the leading of intake discussions to fully understand each position's requirements and ensure staffing goals are achieved

Effectively and efficiently source qualified, diverse pool of candidates for the Company-s open positions utilizing the internet, job boards, the Company website career page and other means, to increase the overall flow of qualified applicants for consideration

Provide recommendations when necessary on how to adjust recruiting strategies

Access applicant qualifications and likely fit in relationship to the position descriptions and requirements

Screen resumes, provide feedback and reasoning for the candidates presented to hiring managers

Schedule interviews (e.g. phone and on-site), monitor and track throughout the recruiting process

Execute all pre and post offer processes, including onboarding and orientation of new hires

Maintain relationships with universities and other sources (i.e. employment agencies / vendors), as necessary

Serve as a main point of contact for all vendor management related tasks and responsibilities

Serve as a liaison between external vendors and internal legal team (e.g. contract review, negotiation and vendor setup activities), as necessary

Perform other administrative duties that support both the staffing and Human Resources functions

Prepare and submit monthly activity reports utilizing ATS system and Excel spreadsheet(s).

Requirements

Three to five years of proven experience in corporate recruiting and partnering with hiring managers.

Demonstrated knowledge, skills and/or abilities relevant to the areas described above.

Detail oriented, excellent follow-up skills to support the recruitment process.

Ability to maintain confidentiality

Strong verbal and written communication skills, organizational and time-management skills.

Proficiency with MS Word, PowerPoint, but most importantly demonstrated advanced Excel skills

Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.

Experience and familiarity with using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS)

Experience using of Social Media as a recruiting tool

Must be willing and available to travel to such locations and with such frequency as is necessary and desirable to meet business needs.
