Job Description

Media/Advertising/Marketing Company in NYC is seeking a National Sales Coordinator to support a number of their busy campaigns!

This is a temp-perm position

Pay is $17-20/hr

Highly desirable

  • Knowledge of NOVAR, OSCAR, STRATA, EMK (NCC) preferred

  • 1-3 years experience in media or advertising

Job Summary

The National Sales Coordinator assists sales leadership in the daily operation of the sales and servicing effort, for national and political in-bound business.

Responsibilities

  • Excel report development, copying, distribution, and filing of contracts and various inter-office correspondences.

  • Responsible for checking contract confirmations for accuracy and the collection and distribution of copy instructions.

  • Updating Electronic Media Kits with rate cards, research, presentations and other sales related materials

  • Preparation of proposals, gathering of rates and analyzing of inventory.

  • Serve as liaison between local news programs, providing insight regarding' research, ratings, and rates

  • Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications / Requirements

  • 1-3 years experience in media or advertising

  • Must have excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Detail oriented with the ability to follow through on assignments.

  • Strong computer skills, including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Working knowledge of NOVAR, OSCAR, STRATA, EMK (NCC) preferred
