Kelly Services is hiring for a Scheduling Clerk for one of our top clients in Modesto, CA- E & J Gallo Winery, Gallo Glass.

This is a temporary position where the person will work as a Kelly Employee placed at our client site.

This is an alternative work schedule, working 4 days and 10 hour shift.

Must have open availability: Monday-Sunday, Day-Swing-Grave shit.


Under minimal supervision executes the scheduling of manpower for glass production shifts. Also tracks and generates reports related to employee attendance.


To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and ability required.


  • High school diploma or GED plus 4 years of administrative support, payroll support, or production scheduling experience.

  • Must be able to work in warehouse environment.

  • Must have open availability.

  • Required to work scheduled shift.

  • Experience performing data entry on a PC.

  • Skilled in the use of MS Word and MS Excel a basic level.

  • Skilled in reading, comprehending, interpreting and executing simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.

  • Experience working under pressure, meeting aggressive deadlines and making sound decisions.

  • Skilled in adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing using whole numbers.

  • Experience working independently with little or no supervision.

  • Possess good organizational/record keeping skills; skilled in multi-tasking.


  • Bachelor-s Degree

  • Customer service or production/manufacturing experience.

  • Experience answering questions and performing tasks that arise in a union workplace.

  • Experience reading and interpreting the language in union contracts.

  • Experience communicating professionally with employees regarding scheduling.

  • Skilled in maintaining accuracy and flexibility under varied time, priority and job assignment changes.

  • Experience reading and interpreting documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

  • Experience writing routine reports, correspondence and procedures.

  • Experience effectively presenting information and responding to questions in one-on- one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization at many levels.

  • Experience using discretion when dealing with confidential information.

  • Experience working with Kronos/ADP timekeeping software.


While performing the duties of this job, the employee may frequently be exposed to work near moving mechanical parts. The employee may occasionally be exposed to wet or humid conditions (non-weather); fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is moderate/high.
