Kelly Services Legal Assistant - Intellectual Property in Mason, Ohio
Kelly Legal Managed Services (KLMS) is seeking a Legal Assistant to support the Intellectual Property Enforcement team in the Asset Protection Department. This temporary position is located in Mason, Ohio.
Legal Assistant Job Responsibilities:
Reviews, edits and drafts demand letters and cease and desist letters under attorney supervision;
Conducts legal and other pertinent research as needed. Conducts research into enforcement targets;
Tracks all global investigations and current brand enforcement litigation;
Provides administrative support to team members;
Runs statistical analyses on enforcement targets;
Budget tracking and reporting;
Presentation preparation and support.
3+ years of experience with a reputable law firm, and/or in-house legal department;
Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
Strong drafting skills;
Self-starter who is innovative, able to multi-task, and able to work independently with minimal oversight;
Strong organization skills with high attention to detail, timeliness, and confidentiality;
Ability to interact effectively with a wide range of constituents, including various internal clients at different levels within the organization, outside counsel in North America and abroad, colleagues within the Asset Protection Department, and a diverse variety of other contacts;
Excellent time management skills;
High level strength in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Document Management Systems.
