Tasks, Duties, And Responsibilities
The Warehouse Servicer is required to have a High School Diploma or equivalent. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Must have good communication skills and a good work ethic. Experience using forklift equipment is preferred.
Primary Job Function:
The Warehouse Servicer will receive and perform daily work assignments from the Warehouse Supervisor, Manager or Distribution Center Manager. The Warehouse Servicer will also be responsible for the following task:
The Warehouse Servicer must be able to work in a team oriented environment by picking, preparing, and palletizing finished goods for shipment.
The Warehouse Servicer must perform all duties in a safe manner. The Warehouse Servicer must immediately communicate to local management any impediment to his/her ability to perform duties safely. The Warehouse Servicer must participate in activities within the site's EHS Management System to improve safety at the location.
Operating forklift or other equipment in a safe manner as required in the movement of material within the distribution center. Completing a daily vehicle inspection report prior to operating any equipment per established SOP. Is responsible for the proper charging of the vehicles after use. May perform routine preventative maintenance as required.
Receiving orders from the DC office. Determining product location and picking product from stock verifying list number, lot number, count, etc. The order is properly processed for shipment via FedEx, LTL, or Fleet trucks.
Palletize shipments after identifying specific customers and verifying orders. Attach packing list with appropriate shipment and perform cross check when appropriate.
Pick, check, over pack, consolidate, and process parcel cases as necessary.
Load / Unload trailers and verify the accuracy of the order. Place goods in proper staging areas, load trailer being mindful of weight distribution, order accuracy, and protection of product.
Verify accuracy of shipments received, determine locations for products, and put product into available locations.
Replenish pick locations to maintain good inventory flow.
On a limited basis, perform Scheduled 2, 3, 4, and 5 controlled drug operations as required. Each employee involved in this activity is a certified “Control Drug Agent” and process orders for truck shipments.
Perform general housekeeping duties.
Processes returns and ensure that each returned case is properly inspected, stocked, and appropriate paperwork for customer credit is completed. Accuracy, Attention to detail, and neatness is expected.
Work independently and proactively. Clearly communicate with management and department personnel on key issues regarding returns processing.
Adhere to all good manufacturing practices, Food and Drug guidelines and Drug Enforcement Laws.
Adhere to Distribution Center policies, standards and operating guidelines, including all EHS SOPs.
The warehouse servicer is responsible for all of the above activities and any others deemed necessary and assigned by the Warehouse Supervisor, Warehouse Manager, or Distribution Center Manager.
