Six Month Contract via Kelly Services

Job Description/Skill Requirements

  • Research Associate will support strain screening of engineered strains

  • Will primarily be focused on performing/supporting the HTP screening of engineered strains that are currently being produced or are planned to be produced during this year

  • Strongly preferred to have education in microbiology, biotechnology or biology. Chemistry may be acceptable.

  • Requires good lab skills, ability to organize work and keep track of materials.

  • Strongly preferred to have experience in aseptic techniques to minimize learning time.

  • Experience with automation would be a benefit.

Importance of Role

  • By directing much of this work to a CRA position, researchers will be able to focus on developing, testing and implementing an improved HTP screening strategy suitable for engineered strains

  • Expect to be needed until the end of the 2018
