A Purchasing & Sourcing Specialist jobs are available with Kelly Services in Houston, TX. You must have strong skills sourcing, negotiating, analyses, validation and experience with best value propositions for company’s manufacturing services. You will be responsible for sourcing and identifying, measuring, holding accountable and reports on cost management and continuous process improvement. Interfacing with clients/customers and identify cost drivers for each component (based on assembly or subassembly drawing). Utilizing “Should Cost” tools to analyze how much a component or assembly should cost, for installed base parts.

Responsibility :

  • Responsible for the PO Placement Expedite purchase orders to meet the need / promise date.

  • You will maintain accurate delivery dates on ERP SAP Collect proof of delivery or the approvals prior completing the invoice receipt in the ERP SAP

  • Drive on-time goods receipt of items delivered as per PO

  • Resolve issues related to PO, Invoice and vendor payment

  • Drive the onboarding process for new suppliers

Education/Skills/Experience:

  • Experience working with suppliers to understand manufacturing practices

  • Requires 3+ years of strong Excel skills, including pivots, vlookups, conditional formatting, large record sets
