Kelly Services Warehouse Associate in Hebron, Kentucky
Kelly Services is seeking qualified candidates for several Warehouse Associates positions with our client in Hebron, KY. These are full time contract positions that may convert into permanent roles! This client offers a great work atmosphere with lots of great team events such as lunch parties, cookouts and newly decorated break rooms. Shifts are up to 5 days a week, which allows for a great life/work balance with benefits eligible on the 1st day of the conversion to permanent FTE position.
Available positions/schedules include:
Distribution Specialist – 1st shift - $12.00 an hour
Distribution Specialist - 2nd Shift -$13.20 an hour
NOTE: Prefer “Cherry Pickers” but open junior/entry level candidates that meet the physical requirements of the job. Several openings in a refrigerated environment.
Job Description: The Distribution Specialist assists with and/or performs receiving and shipping functions accurately in a high-volume and fast-paced distribution operation. Forklift and hazardous material certified, the incumbent receives stores, cycle counts, picks, packs and ships materials; loads and unloads materials; may inspect materials; creates documentation; reconciles inventory and performs data entry. Boundary Conditions/Authority Levels. Normally receives detailed instruction on all work. Adheres to policies and procedures
Forklift – 1st shift - $13.00 (after learning to drive/hired into role)
Forklift – 2nd Shift - $14.30 (after learning to drive/hired into role)
NOTE: must have forklift experience.
Job Description: The Forklift Operator (Cherry Picker/Associate Technician Distribution) assists with and/or performs receiving and shipping functions accurately in a high-volume and fast-paced distribution operation. Forklift and hazardous material certified preferred but not required. The employee receives stores, cycle counts, picks, packs and ships materials; loads and unloads materials; may inspect materials; creates documentation; reconciles inventory and performs data entry. Boundary Conditions/Authority Levels. Normally receives detailed instruction on all work. Adheres to policies and procedures. Picking experience in a Manufacturing environment, medical device would be a plus but not required.
The work environment is temperature regulated during winter/summer months.
INCENTIVE BONUS - working in the refrigerator room is an additional $50 per week. This is a 32 degree environment. Candidates can wear casual attire and will be given hand warmers.
Two weeks of 1:1 training to ensure success and access to team leads and trainers constantly throughout assignments.
