Kelly Services Material Handler TEMPORARY TO HIRE in Green Bay, Wisconsin
Immediate opportunity with local Green Bay company.
Duties of a Material Handler are to perform assigned work reporting directly to the Shift Supervisor. Assigned work may be any one or a combination of the following:
-Material handling/receiving, warehousing, shipping, truck loading and unloading. Be able to lift 50 lb. bags and stack 50 bags per pallet. Be able to stack up to, and take down from a height of 110", cases weighing up to 40 lbs. safely and within a reasonable amount of time.
-Assisting in mold and/or machine set-ups, adjustments and changes.
-Machine maintenance and lubrication.
-Hopper loading and material mixing and coloring. Bring to the production areas necessary supplies including cartons, tape, plastic resin, labels, etc. Move products to proper storage areas.
-Be able to work alternate shifts as required.
-Be trained and certified to operate a powered industrial forklift.
-Be able to move molds up to 100 lbs. to necessary height for machine setup, mold transfer and storage.
-Assisting in assembly, transfer, installation, hook-up, and run-in of machinery and equipment.
-Be capable of performing the duties and responsibilities of the Shift Supervisor when the Shift Supervisor is absent.
-Accurately count and record daily production of finished products and production in progress, as well as goods shipped and received.
-Complete bills of lading, packing lists, receiving reports etc. in a legible and accurate manner.
-Machine operating and line inspection especially, but not limited to, during break periods.
-Assisting the Shift Supervisor in quality assurance, sampling, testing and record keeping.
-Trimming, flame treating, packing, labeling, assembling, sawing and drilling, and final inspection of production.
-General plant cleaning and maintenance including grounds, warehouse, parking areas and garbage removal.
-Make adjustments required to maintain quality specifications.
-Be able to communicate well with others.
-Training and/or assisting new or inexperienced workers.
-All work to be performed in a reasonable amount of time.
-Attend meetings as required.
-Safety and First Aid.
-Any other duties required by the Manager or Assistant Manager.
