Kelly Services Assembler in Danvers, Massachusetts
Our client in Danvers, MA is looking for an experience Assembler of at least 4 years of relevant experience to assist their operations in their Medical Devices facility. Pay rate is $15-17/hr. Candidates should have open availability (7am-7pm, EST, M-F and be able to work at least 8-hours each day in that time frame).
Job Description: The Assembler II performs the following duties, however, other duties may be assigned.
Performs a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies such as modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables.
Works from visual aids, method layouts, diagrams, schematics, process flow sheets and written or verbal assembly instructions.
Sets initial layouts, and uses hand and/or power tools, jigs, and saws. Makes continuity checks on work in process and completed.
May conduct quality inspections on processing line in accordance with quality specifications.
May disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions.

Education, Skills and Experience Needed to Perform Position Function:
High School Diploma, or equivalent 4+ years’ experience in manufacturing assembly in a regulated industry or similar experience
Intermediate computer skills including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint - Able to work and understand computer applications with a minimum of assistance and training
Demonstrated proficiency in leading others in a production, regulated environment
Demonstrated success in assembly of small components
Desirable Qualifications to Perform Position Function:
4+ years’ experience in manufacturing assembly in a regulated industry Prior Team Lead, Supervisory, or Leadership experience
Demonstrated ability to positively communicate and influence others
Ability to be flexible and effectively work with various learning styles and cultural differences
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and build strong working relationships
Physical Requirements Needed to Perform Position Functions:
Stand / sit / walk up to 8 hrs/day.
Perform experiments at bench height.
Moderate lifting / bending stretching to support test apparatus setup / teardown.
Use computer and phone and participate in meetings
