Job Description:

1.0 Purpose

Identify all major areas of responsibility of the Kelly Outsourcing and Consulting Group (KOCG) Operations Manager

2.0 Scope

Support of corporate and contract objectives, financial, personnel and operational management at KOCG operations

3.0 Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the Operation Manager include but are not limited to:

• Customer relations

• Financial reporting

• Performance management and development of direct reports

• Growth Development Process / training

• Continuous Process Improvement

• Communication of KOCG initiatives

• Human resource assistance

4.0 Procedure

4.1 Management of Operations:

• Support customer relations at each operation through

• Regular contact and communication with site customer

• Weekly operations and volume reporting

• Monthly customer meetings

• Furnishing invoice familiarization

• Conducting customer satisfaction survey and reporting

• Financial Support

• Profit and loss statement review

• Budget support

• Initiate and document cost saving initiatives

• Explore and present new opportunities at operation

• Assist Director of Operations with employee and operational issues through

• Administration of Growth Development Program

• Generate productivity reports as needed

• Assist with Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) events

• Conduct employee evaluations and development plans

• Provide coaching/counseling through Performance Improvement Plans and Corrective Actions

• Hiring and development of employees to meet operational requirements

• Implementing corporate directives at the operation level

• Daily Operations

• Immediate customer contact

• Payroll processing and reporting

• Contract compliance

• Direction of employees and resources

• Problem resolution

• Facilitate equipment usage and need

• Maintain KOCG Operations Binder

• Communication with Senior Operations Manager

• Weekly operations reporting

• Scheduled communication

• Support of KOCG-HQ

• Communication and support of corporate initiatives

Education:

BA preferred, Business Administration, Business Management, HR or Finance, or a combination of education and experience would be considered.
