Job Description

Kelly Services is Hiring for a Production Hardware Installer.

Essential Functions:

  1. Start up and set up of machines.

  2. Run job that has been set up and approved.

  3. Follow directions for handling of parts (work instructions).

  4. Fill out paperwork, time, sequence numbers, etc.

  5. Know the quality levels.

  6. Know and follow safety rules.

  7. Follows initiatives of the organization as directed by Coach.

  8. The route sheet is referenced for any special instructions pertaining to the hardware installation operation, such as: location of allocated hardware, tooling, or any special sequence of installation that must be followed.

  9. The blue print is referenced to determine the location and orientation of the hardware to be installed.

  10. Any information that the operator feels is pertinent to the specific part number, such as tooling, installation sequence etc., is added to the route sheet for the next order via a Job Improvement/Suggestion Form.

  11. Clinch nut installation must be checked for push-out at first-piece inspection. In-process checks are required on jobs with more than four hours run time on clinch nut operation.

  12. Operators must check setups on flared items (post, spacers, clinch nuts, etc.) to ensure that flare is centered. Flare must be visible all around diameter flared.

  13. Occasionally requires usage of small, powered, hand tools.

  14. The responsibility of maintaining the hardware cage and the inventory of raw materials, parts, supplies, and tooling within the hardware cage is included in this job function.

  15. Other duties, as assigned.
