Kelly Services Jr/Mid Financial Analyst in Cambridge, Massachusetts

Our client, a top 15 Pharmaceutical company in the world, is currently seeking a Jr/Mid Financial Analyst for a 6+ month open ended contract opportunity located in Cambridge, MA.

Overview & responsibilities of the position below;

  • Provide financial planning and analysis support

  • Monitor, report and analyze R&D expenses in order to make the best use of the budget and maximize portfolio value.

  • Provide systems and analytical support to the support team to ensure effective and efficient provision of finance support services to leadership

  • Provide quarterly analytical support for reviews of program Direct spend budgets vs. plan and vs. actuals

  • Analytical support for tracking and reporting on baseline business case metrics to support financial performance, including establishing baseline values

  • Analytical support for reporting on Indirect spending and FTE resources

  • Prepare routine reporting to support Global Project Teams, Portfolio leadership and CMSO for current year budget as well as multiyear plan

  • Coordinate preparation of analyses and materials for the annual Portfolio Prioritization process

  • Work with colleagues in Line Finance and Accounting to forecast and track development spending, alliance reimbursement and revenues

  • Maintain financial analytical tools and models

  • Provide ad hoc reporting and presentation support as required

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor degree in accounting or finance coupled with 3+ years’ experience in financial reporting or financial planning or strategic planning. Should hold strong understanding of financial analysis methods, tools and concepts to prepare forecasts and perform analyses. Knowledge and experience in Pharmaceuticals, clinical settings and/or R&D area preferred. Experience with SAP is a PLUS.
