Job Description

FABRICATOR B (Saw or Deburr)

SHIFT: 1ST (Hours: 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. Monday through Friday)

Or 2ND shift (Hours: 2:30 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. Mon. through Friday)

PAYRATE: $14.41 - 15.08/HR.


Sets up and operates a minimum of three fabrication machines including a cold cut saw, band saw, drill press, brake press and/or shears to cut, shape, drill, form and bend metal into specified dimensions and angles.


  1. Read job order and/or blueprints for specification such as material, type, and size of stock, and dimension to be cut

  2. Obtain and transfer stock to machine, operating a forklift when necessary

  3. Start machine and observe operation

  4. Measure work for conformance to specifications

  5. Follow designated procedures for preventative and scheduled maintenance on machines


  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent

  • Six months or more related experience


  • Previous experience with cold cut saw, band saw, drill press, brake press and/or shears.

  • Demonstrated experience using measuring devices, including but not limited to tape measures, height gauges, calipers, and micrometers.

  • Demonstrated experience using various small and pneumatic hand tools.

  • Ability to read blueprints.
