Job Description

JOB TITLE: Assembler

SHIFT: 1st (6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. Monday through Friday)


This is a temp-to-hire position. Upon permanent hire the employee will receive a pay raise, and within 30 days of hire, employees will receive a full benefit package (medical, dental, vision, 401K, Stock Options, paid days off, vacation, etc.)


This position is responsible for safely assembling equipment by following detailed instructions by supervisors or trainers. These assemblies vary in size and require the use of a variety of mechanical, electrical and manual tools.


  1. Utilize proper tools to align, drill and secure components with correct bolts and torque to specifications.

  2. Cut, fit, bend and adjust parts for fit or function as desired.

  3. Measure wire, tubing or hose paths and cut tubing to length as desired.

  4. Follow detailed work instructions and standard operating procedures.

  5. Ability to perform all required assembly operations in designated work area.

  6. Produce components by assembling and parts and subassemblies.

  7. Assemble parts, wires, hoses, and hydraulics onto trucks utilizing power equipment and wrenching techniques.

  8. Drill holes for wires, hoses and small parts.

  9. Operate a torch, plasma cutter, or grinder to cut and shape parts.

  10. Position parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements.

  11. Install various truck accessories (decals, mud flaps, cameras, lights).

  12. Lift and stack completed subassemblies and parts up to 65 lbs.

  13. Train and work in various areas of assembly in response to production demands.

  14. Follow verbal and written work instructions.

  15. Attention to detail necessary to adhere to quality standards.

  16. Maintain a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.

  17. Regular attendance required.

  18. All other duties and responsibilities that are assigned.


  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent

  • One year or more related experience.


  • Ability to read blueprints

  • Demonstrated experience using various small and pneumatic hand tools.

  • Requires the use of simple arithmetic and measuring instruments such as caliper, scale and measuring tape.

  • One year certification from college or technical school
