Job Title : Customer Service Technical Support Analyst

W2 Contract for 9 months

Location : Bloomington, MN

Responsible for providing technical/software service and support to customers through various customer contact touch-points, including telephone, e-mail, Web service applications, fax or Interactive Voice Response. Serves as a key contact with internal and external customers. Responds to complex and or technical product and service questions, methods and procedures issues, and general information inquiries. Performs problem resolution, troubleshooting, diagnosis and repair for hardware, desktop, LAN and mainframe software. Provides conference support via presentations, PC labs, and booths. Manages customer relationships in inbound and outbound environments. Ensures customer satisfaction and customer availability goals are met. Captures and communicates the voice of the customer. Identifies opportunities to cross-sell and up-sell. May be assigned as an on-going account contact, perform site visits, and engage in product demonstrations.

Hours: 8:00am to 5:00pm

Additional Job Details: The GED® Student Advisor will work with students to guide them through the process of obtaining their GED® credential. The Advisor will process student intake and help answer student’s questions about the GED® program. They will monitor the student’s progress through their prep to test journey and motivate them along the way. The Advisor is also responsible for helping students interpret their assessment results and prescribe their learning path. They will also identify and implement new approaches to helping more people successfully earn their GED credentials. A successful job applicant should have a strong sense of empathy, excellent customer service skills, and strong organizational skills. Ideal candidates will have experience with adult students or the GED. Guide and Advise Students (60%) ï?· Initial outreach to GED® students through welcome phone call and letter. ï?· Process student registration in GED® systems ï?· Describe GED® program to student and prescribe student learning path ï?· Monitor weekly student progress and advise them on next steps ï?· Weekly touch-base calls with student ï?· Interpret assessment results as necessary Identify and implement student improvements (30%) ï?· Identify, develop, and implement new models or approaches to helping students be more successful in reaching their GED goals Reporting (10%) ï?· Report on student progress – individual and aggregate reporting ï?· Identify process improvements to drive student completion and outcomes *Bilingual (Spanish) preferred; not required
