Our client, a leader in the Apparel industry, is currently seeking a Merchandising Operations Analyst for a 6+ month temporary position with the opportunity for an extension. The position is located in Beaverton, OR.

Job Description:

This position is focused on consumer insights, assortment planning, Go to Market, and product management activities.

As our Global Merchandising Operations contractor, you will play a critical role in enabling streamlined workflow on key projects between Global and Geo Merchandising. You will be in the hub of Global Merchandising connecting strategic priorities and operational excellence. You will help define and manage the Merchandising process, tools and initiatives to strengthen the way we work, plan and execute. You will partner on strategic initiatives and projects on behalf of the Merchandising function. You will come up with innovative solutions to complex questions that have a broad impact on the business.

Duties:

  • Gathers data from sales, retail, and product creation sources.

  • Validates accuracy, and alerts team to outliers.

  • Develops standardized methods of collecting data. Enters data as necessary. Runs standard reports.

  • Analyzes data, draws conclusions, and makes suggestions to Merchandising Ops team based on the data.

  • Using established financial models, performs preliminary analysis that drive towards Merchandising efficiencies, cost effectiveness, and enhanced quality of product assortments.

  • Becomes acquainted with data systems and how they interact. Collects basic requirements for improvements.

Education/Experience

  • Bachelors Degree and minimum of 0-1 years directly relevant work experience.
