Due to growth, Kelly OCG’s Global Solutions Team in Australia and NZ has a new position for a Business Development Director to help us grow and expand our brand in the Australia and NZ market. This position can be based in either Sydney or Melbourne.

In this role you will be responsible for business development and sales for KellyOCG’s entire suite of workforce solutions to new prospective clients across multiple geographies. This role would be ideal for for a professional BD executive or management consultant with consultative business development experience in a B2B environment.

It is expected that you have the ability to identify the prospective client’s business and industry challenges, growth drivers, and desired future state and brings disruptive insights that challenge the client’s status quo, thereby helping the client achieve competitive advantage and meet its financial, operational and people growth objectives. This role involves :

  • Increasing the number of new opportunities in the sales pipeline, effectively drive the opportunities through the funnel, to a closed contract.

  • Responsible for developing and executing a consultative sales strategy against prospects representing the entire KellyOCG capability.

  • Owns and is accountable for the entire sales cycle while coordinating and or engaging support from appropriate internal stakeholders to execute against pursuit strategies when necessary.

  • Create sales plans to grow market share differentiating KellyOCG against competitors to acquire new business.

  • Work with Client Leads/Verticals on account expansion and new business opportunities within large accounts such as acquisitions, new solutions, etc.

  • Initiate and drive senior level engagement from KellyOCG

  • Influence decisions of high level stakeholders in order to create a win/win opportunity for KellyOCG and the client

  • Apply the knowledge of labour,community and industry awareness to a business development opportunity, and educate the client while bringing innovative ideas to the table.

  • Work closely and consult with partners in operations, product groups and support groups to leverage KellyOCG’s capabilities and close sales.

  • Develop client and industry networks that are both deep and wide to create demonstrated, active relationships within these networks.

  • Continue to be knowledgeable of competitor positions.

  • Work closely with pricing and finance to develop profitable solutions.

To be considered for this new position, you are required to have the following experience :

  • 7+ years’ experience in B2B Sales required + Proven ‘hunter’ success in a consultative and

professional services environment

  • Proven Strategic sales at C suite level

  • Minimum education required: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent Qualifications
