Job Description

Kelly Services is hiring a Commercial Recruiter in the Atlanta Market. Job Duties/Description is as follows:

Order Fulfillment:

Analyzing needs and taking customer orders, documenting order requirements in front office systems, escalating orders to appropriate branches, conducting candidate searches, presenting candidates, scheduling interviews, following up on interviews/candidates presented, informing customers on status of orders, offering assignments to temporary employees, filling orders in front office systems, confirming orders to customer and temporary employees, conducting arrival calls, managing secondary suppliers.

Order Management: Conducting quality control calls, conducting order extensions, documenting order activity in front office systems, managing service disruptions.

  • Meet or exceed target for satisfactory performance of temporary employees.

  • Meet or exceed target for filled order percentage.

  • Meet or exceed target for on-time fill of orders.

  • Meet or exceed target for order completion.

  • Comply with customer requirements

  • Comply with standard service delivery processes (e.g., hiring process).

Recruiting & Retention:

  • Meet or exceed target for hired-versus-paid percentage for temporary employees.

  • Develop and execute strategic recruiting plan.

  • Deploy and maintain temporary employee retention programs.

Recruiting/Sourcing: Analyzing branch recruiting needs and developing recruiting strategy (e.g., determining which recruiting events to attend, creating recruiting collateral, developing and maintaining relationships with recruiting sources), managing recruiting budget, analyzing results.

Hiring: Screening and assessing candidates, administering evaluations, conducting interviews, checking references, making hiring decisions, conducting temporary employee orientations.

Orientation/Training: Determining applicable customer orientation/training needs, conducting orientation/training, enforcing customer policies.

Employee Relations/Management: Monitoring and analyzing employee turnover/absenteeism and taking appropriate action, conducting performance reviews, soliciting employee feedback, investigating customer/employee complaints and taking appropriate action, counseling/coaching employees, providing career guidance, conducting exit interviews, making decisions regarding termination of employees, managing co-employment issues, developing and maintaining recognition and retention programs, addressing perk issues (e.g., service bonus and holidays), handling workplace violence/safety issues.

Business Development/Retention:

  • Charge conversion fees for every employee hired.

  • Increase revenue from direct hire fees.

  • Fulfill requirements for face time with customers and temporary employees.

  • Meet or exceed target for skill alert calls.

Business Development: Identifying business opportunities (e.g., via telephone, by participating in community/customer events), conducting skill alerts, maximizing conversion and direct hire fee income.

Account Management: Conducting needs analyses, developing and presenting Business Reviews, complying with acceptable customer requirements, resolving reporting and billing issues, soliciting customer feedback.

Unemployment/Workers- Compensation Management: Conducting safety site surveys, conducting accident investigations, completing First Report of Injury forms, communicating with insurance carrier/treating physician, testifying in unemployment hearings, managing Return to Work programs.

Payroll: Distributing paychecks, preparing time cards for payroll center processing, resolving paycheck issues.

Expected Results Major Job Functions:

  • Participate in Quality Management initiatives.

  • Participate in staff meetings/daily huddles.

  • Adhere to Performance/Development Discussion Guide process.

  • Complete training requirements.

  • Participate in community events.
