Our client, the largest Managed Healthcare, for profit firm, is currently seeking a Senior Product Manager (Technical) for a 4 month temporary position with a strong possibility to become temporary to permanent . The position is a WORK FROM HOME but located near to the office in Virginia Beach, Virginia.

The hours for this position are as follows
- Monday to Friday 8:00am-5:00pm
PAY RATE= $42.00-$56.00/hour (depending where you live within the USA)
*Multiple locations are available (Atlanta, Richmond, Virginia Beach, Thousand Oaks, Denver and Chicago)
Your responsibilities will include (but not limited to):
Responsible for overseeing the development of the company’s web or mobile assets from strategic product planning through execution to launch.
Assist in driving the asset strategy, and business case development
Accountable for solution design, feature prioritization and delivery of capabilities to competitively enhance the firm’s web or mobile app
Oversee development and maintenance of products as needed
Act as a product owner in scrum teams
Prioritizes requirements, defects, and other work items for the technical teams
Collaborate with team to determine ways to competitively enhance product capabilities
Work with user experience team to understand results from usability studies and evaluate integration opportunities
Evaluate how variations in the product design can impact its overall effectiveness.
Use market and stakeholder feedback, consumer research, web analytics, and regulatory standards to determine the strategies and approaches necessary to deliver compliant solutions that increase member satisfaction and drive improved health care outcomes
Manage requirements dependencies with other teams, negotiating and reprioritizing as appropriate
Define key performance metrics and utilize analysis of web analytics and other data and research to monitor performance and influence the mobile product strategy/roadmap
Be a subject matter expert in web enterprise solutions, competitive and market trends, and organizational business needs
You are required to have a BA/BS degree. The role itself is more on the business side, working hand in hand with IT on determining what functionality needs to be added. You are required to have 5+ years’ experience in product management with a quantitative focus. You will have 3+ years working with in a scaled Agile framework development environment. You are required to have 5+ years in a web/mobile application strategy role. Many tools are considered strong assets (Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Jira, Confluence). You will also need to have experience with multiple full project lifestyles from concept to delivery. If you have prior B2B, B2C or direct to consumer within digital would be a strong asset. You must be able to work independently as someone won’t be around to micro manage / direct you on a day to day basis.
