Kelly Services Sr Payroll Analyst - Troy, MI in Troy, Michigan

Kelly Services, Inc. has an excellent full time opportunity for a Sr. Payroll Analyst. This position is located at our World Headquarters in Troy, Michigan working in the Financial Shared Services division of Kelly.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assist with Wage & Hour consultation

  • Take proactive, yet practical and creative measures to audit all timekeeping methods, along with our standard payroll practices.

  • Responsible for successfully auditing and monitoring key areas of risk affecting Payroll, with an emphasis on wage and hour matters.

  • Interact with Operations to ensure our Talent is paid on time and work with the internal payroll organizations on error management and work flow for all timekeeping tools.

  • Work in tandem with Payroll Center of Excellence and Expense Audit Team to develop, operationalize, monitor and support a company-wide compliance program – which includes a review of written policies & audits, socializing/teaching compliance obligations, and escalation to leadership for any areas of risk

Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.

  • Minimum of 3 - 5 years payroll experience including: Wage and Hour law, payroll taxes, direct deposit, online banking, and adjustments.

  • Must be computer literate including MS office, internet and email required.

  • Must be at an “Intermediate” excel level.

  • Strong organizational, verbal and written communication skills required.

  • Strong analytical skills also required. Must be detail oriented.

  • PeopleSoft or other ERP software experience preferred.
