Kelly Services is currently recruiting an Accounts Receivable Assistant for a company located in Sparks, MD. This is a long-term position!
Key Tasks Include:
Receipt of live checks from customers
Determine if these checks are overpayment or as the result of a discount
Enter all information into the system
Receipt of imaged checks
Determine where the imaged check belongs
Identify who the vendor is from the imaged check
Determine where the billing is in the process to the customer
Adjust records and reduce billing amounts to customers after checks are identified and applied
Initiate billings to customers
Make adjustments to records based on billings
Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable experience
Very strong attention to detail
Ability to work within strict deadlines/work with a sense of urgency
