This role is a Part-time opportunity--20 hours a week
We're looking for a designer with passion about serving customers and creating great experiences.
This position is part-time and joins a team that is looking to simplify customer experience by integrating the entry points for opening Customer Service and Customer Support cases.
The candidate would work with multiple teams including the team that owns the Customer Service case experience as well as the team that owns the Customer Support experience to orchestrate an experience for customers seeking assistance from the client.
The objective is to unify the entry point to the tools that allow users to open cases.
This will simplify/reduce effort by reducing choices and reduce mis-routed cases by ensuring the user takes the right path for opening a case.
Candidates will have experience designing within existing design systems and leveraging corporate brand and design standards.
If you are a web design professional with experience in projects from research to front-end development and everything in between, this is for you.
Works with: UX lead and team, Business/Ops Lead and analysts, and Dev/Tech Lead and team members as needed
Build UX requirements and specifications: Prototyping / Wireframes / User stories
Create research-derived task flows and screen flows as mockups, wireframes, and prototypes in collaboration with user researchers, product managers, engineers, and UI developers.
Collaborate with user researchers, product managers, and others to intentionally design interactions based on user research results, business requirements, and common internal design standards.
Build prototypes from low-fidelity to high-fidelity
Experience with Sketch and InVision a plus
Ensure all design artifacts are created on time
Presentation skills: Able to explain projects and UCD practices to narrow and broad audiences
Project Plan: Work with PM and UCR to provide proper estimates for cost and time of UE work
Metrics: input to KPIs, ensure instrumentation
Balancing User Needs and compromises
Participate in Design Reviews
Define visual design based on branding and UI standards
Design QA aka redline testing and review and sanity checks on functionality
Support UI QA and UAT
Contribute to and make use of a UI component library; Identifying components to be reused and components to be built
