Kelly Services Financial Analyst in San Antonio, Texas
Our client, a Medical Device company, is currently seeking a Financial Analyst for a 9 month temporary position with the opportunity for an extension. The position is located in San Antonio, TX.

The hours for this position are as follows
- Monday to Friday 8:00am-5:00pm
Your responsibilities will include (but not limited to):
Lead the financial analysis, reporting, and support for the Direct and Indirect Distribution functions at the Diabetes San Antonio facility. Perform quantitative analysis to forecast financial performance, partner with business leaders to manage the business to meet those expectations. Provide financial analysis to support management decisions and special projects.
Perform finance activities for the San Antonio facility to include:
Month/Quarter/Year-end close activities
Financial modeling for annual budgeting process
Work with business partners to develop budgets and forecasts
Create presentations for executive management
Prepare monthly financial reporting packages, metrics, and scorecards
Analyze actual vs. plan and forecast and provide commentary on drivers of performance
Create ad hoc reports
Basic Qualifications :
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting and 8 years of relevant experience. An MBA or CPA certification desired. Previous Financial forecasting/modeling experience
Excellent written and oral communication skills, with experience making written and oral presentations to VP level executives
Month end close process; annual budgeting planning & process experience
Must have solid proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
Experience with SAP and Hyperion would be a plus
Strong financial and analytical skills and ability to execute against business objectives.
Previous experience in developing business plans will be beneficial
Working knowledge of GAAP preferred
Experience in fast-paced, high-growth multinational corporation is preferred
Previous experience in the Medical Device industry would be beneficial.
