Kelly Services is currently looking to hire a Sr. Electrical Technician to work for Solta Medical in Bothell, WA

Duration : Contract, 6 months, possibly longer

Pay : DOE

Location : Bothell, WA

Description :

Designs, builds, and tests, and integrates various types of electrical and mechanical components and equipment.

Responsibilities and Duties: Note: The following are meant to be representative but not necessarily all inclusive of the duties and responsibilities for this position title.

Assemble and debug electrical hardware including printed-circuit assemblies, cables, and other components and electronic/mechanical subassemblies.

Assemble printed-circuit boards, cable connectors, and electronic and electro-mechanical assemblies.

Assembly of electrical test systems for automated testing of components or subassemblies.

Write or modify simple programs to perform automated tests on components subassemblies or systems.

Create reports compiling test results including documentation of circuit or system electrical metrics.

Construct cable assemblies and special test equipment to specification and verify electrical and mechanical performance to design requirements.

Design, document, inspect, and test special lab test equipment.

Design and build various circuit boards and assemblies for prototyping product development activities.

With detailed specifications select and order components from distributor inventory.

Check lead-times and verify availability.

Experience, Education, Training, Traits:

Associate Degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Technology.

Minimum 5 years as Sr. Electrical or Electronics Technician in demanding electronic product environments consumer, industrial, medical etc.

Excellent knowledge of test equipment including Network Analyzers, Impedance Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, Microscopes, Voltmeters bench and handheld and data loggers.

Extensive experience assembling electronic circuits RF, analog and digital on hand-wired and printed circuit boards including SMT/SMD components and fine-line chip attachment and removal.

Must have excellent soldering skills.

Experience assembling mechanical assemblies and with the safe operation of various hand and power tools.

Good knowledge of basic electrical calculations, Use of MS Windows-based software Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc. to create reports and document tests.

Able to debug and perform basic diagnosis of faults on printed-circuit assemblies, cables and electro-mechanical systems under supervision of engineers although the successful candidate will be expected readily requests help when task exceed their knowledge.

Can read schematics and understand basic circuit theory and functionality.

Familiar with the basic properties of circuit components such as transistors, capacitors, inductors, resistors, transformers, etc.

Ability to work both independently and with a team consisting of mechanical and electrical engineers.

Experience with automated product lifecycle management PLM documentation systems such as Agile or Omnify is a plus.

Programming skills are a plus.

Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and a demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and professionally.

Ability to read, analyze, interpret and assist in the creation and refinement of company procedures, test reports, and assembly instructions.

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions and report on findings.
