Staff Associate Investigator

6+ month contract


Seeking an experienced researcher or analyst performing technical, scientific, or information assignments interdependently. Plans project approaches and routinely formulates work plans. May be responsible for setting and defining technical or business objectives and assessing results. May also have team leader responsibilities.


  • Performs experiments, complex technical operations, or information search/analysis projects and optimizes and interprets methodologies and analysis and suggests experiments or alternative approaches.

  • Recognizes erroneous or unexpected results, interprets and analyzes results and makes suggestions based on their analysis and conclusions.

  • Interprets and analyzes results, makes suggestions on path forward and contributes to formulating work plans and managing daily workflow.

  • Independently adapts new methodology to current projects. Manage projects with minimal supervision from conception to finalized work product to meet business needs and deadlines. Ensure that work products comply with applicable internal and external standards


  • Candidates must have a college degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Technology or Science

  • Highly preferred that candidates have ASCP (American Society of Clinical Pathology) Certification

  • Applicant should be familiar with clinical laboratory instrumentation, techniques (pipetting, centrifuging, microscopic evaluation of urine sediment and blood smears) and quality control evaluation. Attention to detail, excellent communication and documentation required.
