Kelly Services Staffing Agency Branch Manager in Morrisville, North Carolina

Job Description

The Branch Manager is expected to meet and exceed financial targets (sales, fees, gross profit, contribution and hours). The Branch Manager is also responsible for selecting, training and developing the branch staff and for monitoring performance to achieve business results. The Branch Manager leads the branch staff in business development, service delivery, customer and employee retention, recruiting, and expense management (e.g., workers' compensation and unemployment compensation).

The Branch Manager is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with key customers and business leaders in the community as well as local, regional and corporate Kelly management. With a strong focus on continuous improvement and customer satisfaction, the Branch Manager proactively and effectively identifies and resolves customer and employee issues. As business conditions change, the Branch Manager assesses the impact and responds accordingly to ensure maximum profitability. Operating within company policy, the Branch Manager exercises discretion and independent judgment in making decisions.

Duties & Responsibilities

Business Development

-Meet or exceed budgeted sales targets.

-Maintain a sales funnel at a minimum of two times budget.

-Meet or exceed target gross profit percentage (as defined by pricing guidelines).

-Meet or exceed weekly target for new customer wins.

-Participate in weekly funnel calls and sales strategy calls, as necessary.

-Conduct sufficient cold, canvass, and planned calls to average 8 face-to-face appointments per week.

-Meet or exceed target for conversion or direct hire fees.

Service Delivery

-Meet or exceed target for satisfactory performance of temporary employees.

-Meet or exceed target for filled order percentage.

-Meet or exceed target for on-time fill of orders.

-Meet or exceed target for order completion.

-Track and monitor orders filled per Supervisor.

-Ensure Supervisors are following pricing guidelines by tracking and monitoring primary GP per order filled.

-Manage secondary supplier usage at or below target and meet customers- diverse supplier spend requirements.

-Manage compliance to customer requirements.

-Manage compliance to Kelly-s standard service delivery processes (e.g., hiring process).

-Support implementation of corporate strategic initiatives (e.g., Kelly Complete, KSN).

-Improve branch Kelly Customer

Financial Management

-Meet or exceed budgeted contribution target.

-Manage workers- compensation as percent of direct wages at or below budget.

-Manage payroll taxes (including state unemployment taxes) as percent of direct wages at or below budget. ·

-Manage bad debt as percent of sales at or below budget. ·

-Manage finance cost as a percent of sales at or below budget. ·

-Meet or exceed target for Work Opportunity Credits. ·

-Manage expenses as a percent of gross profit at or below budget. ·

-Meet or exceed target for contribution per FTE.

Requirements

Qualifications: Must meet 6 of the 9 requirements below:

-5+ years of recruiting experience

-5+ years- experience working with a staffing agency

-2+ vendor management experience

-3 + years of working with a computer in office environment

-1 + years of working with Excel in office environment

-Must have 4 year degree from University or College

-4+ years of experience managing 4 or more employees

-3+ years of B2B sales experience

-4+ years of account management experience
