Kelly Services Technical Test Lead in Marlborough, Massachusetts

Kelly Services has partnered with a Leading Pharmaceutical Company in Marlborough, MA seeking a Technical Test Lead to follow approved testing methodologies and assist with coordinating the overall testing effort for the Win 10 application test project. Work independently, under general direction from the Associate Director of End User Services as well as the Solutions Architect.

Pay Rate: Negotiable based upon experience

Type of Hours: Full Time

Major Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Working knowledge to be able to manage the following

  • Track application testing process to completion

  • Work with application owners on the creation and or review of test plans

  • Manage and track bugs/issues found in test and be able to suggest resolutions

  • Participate in meetings, planning sessions and working groups with other IT functions to understand and align project needs

  • Ability to create and execute communication and training plans

  • Provide project updates as required

  • Gather business and technical requirements

  • Work closely with Solutions Architect to ensure that procedures are consistent with desktop support procedures

  • Provide technical leadership in fully documenting relevant systems and processes as necessary

Experience/Technical Skills

  • Endpoint support experience (Desktop/HelpDesk Support) as well as Server support experience a plus.

  • Experience in End User Services with knowledge of Windows OS systems including 7, 8.1 and 10

  • Systems and Server experience.

  • Technical and general communication skills both written and oral.

  • Experience with performing functional testing of software, following test procedures and processes, and coordinating test plans

  • Experience with collecting, analyzing, refining, documenting, and validating functional requirements from end users and other stakeholders

  • B.S. in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent experience.

  • 6-9 years’ experience in a Senior Desktop Services & Support environment.
