Kelly Services Customer Service Representative in Kalamazoo, Michigan

Kelly Services is currently seeking a Customer Service Representative for one of our top clients in Kalamazoo MI area.

Start Date: 11/6/17

End Date: 4/1/18

Hours: Monday- Friday 8:30-5pm

Pay: 14.00/hour

Location: 1 Financial Pkwy Kalamazoo MI

Summary: Responsible for interacting with customers to provide information in response to inquiries about products and services and to handle and resolve complaints

Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Resolve customers’ service or billing complaints by performing activities such as exchanging merchandise, refunding money, and adjusting bills.

  • Contact customers to respond to inquiries or to notify them of claim investigation results and any planned adjustments.

  • Refer unresolved customer grievances to designated departments for further investigation.

  • Keep records of customer interactions and transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, and comments, as well as actions taken

Day to Day Duties:

  • Worker will spend 6.5 hours per day on the phones. The other 1.5 is for research needed for calls and breaks.

  • Candidates will receive a call log each day where they will log all of the information that is provided during their calls.

  • They will speak to customers about a number of financial products.

  • 6 weeks of training will be provided

  • Will work with vault and lock box teams.

  • Will work with the manager and multiple team leads.

Competencies:

  • Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, customer service skills and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and manage one’s time. Ability to accurately document and record customer/client information.

  • Previous experience with computer applications, such as MS Outlook or data entry software.

Performance Measures;

  • How many calls were completed successfully and how many were abandoned.

-Calls are listened to and observed.

. Education/Experience:

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Required:

2 to 4 years customer service related experience required. (retail settings are a plus)
