Kelly Services is currently seeking a Customer Service Representative for a well known life insurance company in Jacksonville, FL. This is a temporary to permanent opportunity.

Pay Rate $13 per hour. Pay rate increases to $14.00 an hour after 120 days.
Work Schedule: 11am-8pm Mon-Fri

Role and Responsibilities
This position will be a new team being established to service two specific accounts: Walmart and Target. This person will be assigned to work on the Target account. The shift will work and train on the 11am to 8pm shift. Answer incoming National Account customer inquiries and respond to customer requests. Have the ability to answer complex questions and interpret a variety of policies, rules, regulations and performs a full range of customer service duties. This is a brand new unit and we need to have strong people with appropriate experience. The positions can be temp to hire for the right candidates and the job duties can expand. Previous claims experience would be much appreciated and definitely should stay with some insurance/medical background.
Must have a demonstrated track record and the ability to work in a fast paced/deadline driven environment.
Ideal candidate should be able to work independently or in a team oriented environment.
Must have the ability to interpret and apply laws, rules and regulations.
Limited policy coverage and insurance regulation knowledge
Verbal/written telephone communication skills are a must
Attend training sessions as a participant
Limited individual decision making
Simple and straight forward individual claim authorization
Ability to prioritize and handle multiple
Pay rate will increase to $14 per hour after 120 days.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
2-4 years office experience; college degree preferred. Excellent verbal, written and organizational skills; team player, self-starter that can work with minimal supervision. Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word; must have the following Excel skills at a minimum:
Justify, sorting, formatting (i.e., wrap text, merge cells, percentage), formulas for sum, multiplication, division, freeze panes; inserting/deleting rows, columns & sheets; background and cell color, filtering, vlookup, pivot tables and macros a plus.

Word – intermediate
Outlook - intermediate
