Kelly Services Accounts Payable Supervisor in Independence, Ohio
The position will be primarily responsible for the day to day supervision of the Accounts Payable department.
Essential responsibilities will include:
-supervise, train and evaluate accounts payable personnel
-system support for Concur including assistance with implementation of travel and expense module
-provide guidance to accounts payable team on use of all systems and applications
-oversight of monthly accounts payable metrics including to but not limited to DPO, aged payables, payable variances, entry and payment error percentage, processing volumes
-document policy and procedures for the accounts payable group
-identify process improvements and solutions
-ensure accounts payable team meets internal and external deadlines
-assist the manager in ad hoc projects
Desired Skills and Experience
-Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field preferred
-7 or more years of accounts payable experience with proven track record of success
-two or more years of leadership and direct personnel supervision experience preferred
-familiar with Accounting ERP software, Concur, and other Operational Support software
-excellent communication, analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills
-superb research skills and knowledge in accounts payable
-ability to analyze accounts payable records and adopt methods needed to solve accounts payable problems
-supervise and train personnel and establish and maintain working relations with subordinates, clients and other people contacted in the course or work
-strong personal computer and business solutions software skills
-exceptional planning and organizational skills to balance and prioritize work
-detail oriented with refined planning and organizing abilities
