Portuguese Helpdesk Support Analyst

Duration : Long term Contract

Location: Houston, TX 77073

Hours: 8am-5pm and/or 9am - 6pm

Pay: $27-30/hr W2

Responsibilities:

• Provide first line response for users requiring assistance with information technology issues and problems, via telephone, Webchat and email.

• Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues.

• Research questions using available information resources.

• Respond to requests for technical assistance by phone, chat or email and logging the issue in a helpdesk management system.

• Tracking issues to resolution and updating the internal knowledgebase.

• Escalate more involved problems to the appropriate Tier 2 and Tier 3 support teams.

• Update open tickets daily.

• Act as a liaison between customers and technical escalation teams.

• Handles special projects, as assigned.

• Bilingual English/Portuguese

Technical Skills & Knowledge:

Required:

Active Directory - Navigation of the AD MMC Snapin, Password Resets, Moving Objects, Group Management, Remote Computer Management.

Windows XP/7 Troubleshooting - Network Adapters, Software, Printers, Other Hardware.

Network Troubleshooting - VPN Installation/Configuration, Wireless Adapter Install/Configuration, DHCP Troubleshooting, etc.

Virus Mitigation - Using provided tools to remove infected objects, repairing damage from malicious software, and preventing further infestation.

Software Troubleshooting - Outlook 2003/2007/2010, Adobe Acrobat/Reader 7+, Cisco VPN Client, Radia, SCCM, Internet Explorer 6+, McAfee Enterprise, Nuance PDF.

Hardware Troubleshooting - Laptops, Monitors, External Devices, Desktops, PDA style devices, Docking stations, Copiers/Printers, etc.
